'Ihtijab' means 'to cover or conceal out of fear. This song took Zina about four months to write and about a year to release. She says 'the song wrote itself. I was just journaling my emotions... I did not realise they would become lyrics one day.
Inspired by both Bollywood and western espionage and London gang-land sound tracks, this song has a retro soul-funk feel and was co-composed by Zina Khan. She directed, shot and edited the video.
